Head, Neck and Jaw Osteopath in Lismore
Focused osteopathic care for headaches, migraine, jaw pain, neck pain, dizziness and concussion, now consulting from Hinterland Osteopathy on Molesworth Street.
About our Lismore clinic
Our Lismore clinic opened in September 2026 to bring focused head, neck and jaw care to the hinterland and the western side of the Northern Rivers. We practise from consulting rooms within Hinterland Osteopathy on Molesworth Street, close to the CBD and a short walk from the courthouse.
As with our Ballina clinic, this is not a general osteopathy practice. We concentrate on conditions affecting the head, neck and jaw: headaches and migraine, jaw and facial pain, neck pain and whiplash, dizziness and vertigo, and concussion. Many of the people we see have had symptoms for some time and are looking for a clearer explanation and a plan that fits.
Your first appointment in Lismore is a full hour. Dr Leon Erdrich travels to Lismore specifically for this work, and that time is used to take a detailed history, examine properly and talk through what has been found before deciding on treatment together.

Conditions we treat in Lismore
Headaches
Persistent or recurring headaches often trace back to the neck, the jaw or irritated nerves. We look for the source rather than treating the pain alone.
Migraine
Migraine involves the whole nervous system, not just the head. We help you understand your triggers and work to reduce how often and how hard episodes hit.
Jaw & Orofacial Pain
Clicking, locking, tightness or pain around the jaw and face can point to a temporomandibular disorder. We assess the joint, the muscles and the neck together.
Whiplash & Neck Pain
Whether from a car accident, a fall or years of desk work, neck pain responds best when the joints, muscles and nerves involved are properly identified.
Vertigo & Dizziness
Dizziness has many possible causes, including the inner ear and the neck. A thorough assessment lets us target the right one and plan rehabilitation.
Concussion
Symptoms that linger after a knock to the head deserve careful assessment. We check the neck, balance and visual systems and guide a paced return to normal life.
Areas we serve from Lismore
Lismore is the natural base for people living in the hinterland and the western Northern Rivers, and for anyone who finds the drive to the coast a stretch. We see patients from across the region, including:
- Lismore, East Lismore and Goonellabah
- Alstonville and Wollongbar
- Casino and Coraki
- Kyogle
- Nimbin and The Channon
- Bexhill, Clunes and Dunoon
- Bangalow and the Byron hinterland
If you are closer to the coast, our Ballina clinic may be more convenient. Both clinics offer the same care and you can book at either.
Getting started
Head, neck and jaw care is now closer for the hinterland. If ongoing headaches, jaw pain, neck pain, dizziness or post-concussion symptoms are getting in the way, book a first appointment in Lismore or get in touch with any questions before you do.
